Chronic Illness
 

A complex chronic illness case story:

Joe, a 48 year old business owner, had a 35 year history of Epstein Barr inflammation, huge tonsils, lymph node flare-ups, early arthritis, poor circulation, always feeling cold, painful daily bloating and extreme fatigue that interrupted his life regularly. ​

After 4 treatments, he reported feeling warmer and having much more energy.

After 6 treatments, he reported it was the best he had felt

in a long time. His pain was down and his lymph nodes

were not swollen.

After 9 months of 2 treatments a month, Joe's Epstein Barr test came back 100 points lower = EBV was basically non-detectable.

2 autumns ago, Joe revealed that he hates fall. It causes him some depression and mild anxiety. He also has a history of bronchitis every fall. I began adding in acupuncture points to heal this and we did 3 months of Chinese immunity herbs that also increase energy levels.

Last autumn, we noticed Joe did not get sick and his emotional mood was much lighter and more resilient. Perhaps next year it will be his favorite season of all.
